Change to Page 1 of the quoting system - Household and Landlord

Following feedback, you will now notice a change to page 1 of our quoting system for Household and Landlord quotes.

Previously, after the property type, year build and number of bedrooms had been entered, this automatically generated a High, Low and Expected rebuild value for your guidance. This will now no longer happen automatically.

1. After you have entered property type, year build and number of bedrooms, a rebuild figure can be manually input as you choose (same for the Contents Cover and Personal Possessions Cover).

2. If you do not know the rebuild value or would like to check, you can manually select to generate a rebuild value from the RICS calculator.

3. This will generate a pop-up box and show the High, Expected and Low rebuild value from the RICS calculator that you can select OR input your own figure based on this guidance – Input and then go “BACK TO QUOTE”

4. Select the final choices and requirements regarding Accidental Damage Cover, Claim Free Years and Addition Voluntary Excess and then “GET QUOTE NOW” as always.

The majority of the Assurant policies are bedroom rated products but there are some client led, sum insured. A summary of these are shown below with more information available from our Products and Insurers pages.
